This Auction is for a 1983 24’ Coachman Motor home built on a Ford Econoline chassis with a 460 V-8 engine. There are 97,665 miles/157,176 kilometers on the odometer. This unit has severe flood damage. The RHS of this motor home looks decent as basically it is just dirty and showing its age. The bottom rear on this side has severe rot as the sheet metal has separated at the molding and the wood is rotting. The outside refrigerator vent is loose and bent up on the RHS. The LHS is about the same condition as the RHS. The lower rear on this side is also severely flood damaged and there is a lot of rot here. The lower back end of this motor home has the most severe flood damage as the entire lower back end has been submerged and is rotten. The roof looks to be uneven and is just showing its age. Based on the condition of the inside ceiling there is evidentially some leaking taking place. The tires look decent on this rig as there is some decent tread remaining. The front end of this Ford Econoline looks decent as there is just one of the fog lights that is damaged. Inside there is a large sleeper above the drivers helm. The mattress is severely torn up and the walls are in very tough shape as the wall paper is coming loose and there is an area of rotting. There is a “booth” style table that converts into a sleeper. The cushions are musty and there are areas of moisture on the wooden frame of the seats. Next to the table is a large couch. This too is just musty but looks to be in fair shape. This folds into a sleeper as well. The kitchen area has a sink, 3 burner stove with hood and an oven. There is also a refrigerator/freezer. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and a tub with shower. These areas appear to be in fair shape, just dirty and aging. The rear across from the bathroom is a sleeper with a bunk above it. There is no mattress and there are signs of water damage back here. The bunk above the sleeper is damaged as well. The windows have been taped up and the blinds look to be in tough shape. The ceiling has area of rot above the kitchen area and the rear end of the motor home. The main driving area looks to be in decent shape as the bucket seats look decent and the dash area looks to be in decent shape. The radio has been removed. There is an Onan Gen Set Generator that is with the unit. It appears that this unit has been under water as it has signs of flood damage. The engine is a Ford V-8 460 that does not run. There are carburetor problems as gas just runs out of it and will not start. We were informed by the insured that the motor and the transmission were NOT under water!! Good luck bidding on this flood damaged 24’ Coachman Motor home.
