Coming to us as Stock #1575 is a 2013 Sylvan Mirage 8522 pontoon, measuring 22 feet in length and powered by a 2012 Mercury Big Foot 60HP 4‑stroke EFI motor. The motor did start and run for us, but there is no prop installed and no battery or trailer included with this unit.
Starting at the stern (rear), the left toon’s eye hook is bent, and the weld has broken, creating a small hole. There are noticeable scratches and dents in the rear paneling. The motor itself appears to be in good condition overall aside from a few cosmetic paint nicks, but again, no prop is included.
Moving to the port (left) side, the paneling has dents and scratches throughout, though nothing overly severe, and the side door seems slightly misaligned. The aluminum trim strip between the toon and the deck is bent upward in the middle, leaving a visible opening.
At the bow (front), the top railing on the front right corner is scratched, and the paneling below it has a large dent. The front eye hook on the right side is bent inward, and the broken weld has torn the aluminum, causing another hole. The front bumper molding is also scratched and scuffed.
On the starboard (right) side, the upper section shows heavy damage. The trim piece between the toon and deck is bent up again in the middle, and scratches run the length of the toon.
The hull (bottom) of the boat appears to be in good condition with no major issues noted.
Inside, nearly everything shows damage of some kind. It appears the boat may have rolled onto its side, heavily crushing the right topside and shifting the interior toward the left, which resulted in additional damage throughout the left side as well.
We inspected this pontoon to the best of our ability; however, due to the extensive topside damage, there may be hidden issues that were not visible during our evaluation. This unit is being sold AS‑IS to the next owner. Good luck bidding on this item.
