Description
Coming to auction is Stock #1906, a 2024 Avalon LSZ 2185 CRB 21’ Pontoon. This unit comes to us with storm damage, and although it does not include a trailer, it does come with a Mercury 150 HP 4‑stroke motor that started and ran when tested, even though it had been submerged in the water. The motor also includes a prop that is in decent condition but has several small dings and chips.
Beginning at the front of the toon, everything mostly appears as it should, with some scratches in the graphics but mostly normal wear and tear. On the port side of the unit, you will see a couple of small dents in the toons, though they are not very visible. You can also see that the chrome here, and all around the unit, is slightly weathered. Other than that, everything appears to be normal wear and tear. Coming back to the stern of the pontoon, it mostly appears as it should, again with the chrome slightly weathered. The main thing noticeable here is that the paint is chipping on the motor, which can be seen in the pictures. Moving to the starboard side, it seems to be in good shape with not much visible damage. The toon and hull also appear as they should when looking underneath the unit.
Coming to the inside of the unit, where the main damage occurred, most of the seats were ripped from their mounts and were not connected to the brackets. It also appears that some of the framing for the seats may be bent or broken, as there is some visible broken aluminum. Also visible is some of the electrical wiring, leading me to believe it may be shorted or not functional. Other features on the inside seem to be in okay shape, but there could be hidden damage that I could not see.
Overall, this newer pontoon is ready for auction and looking for a new owner. Good luck bidding on this unit!
