Description
Up for auction is a 1987 Sea Ray Weekender 230 this comes with a trailer and a 260 mercruiser inboard, Our mechanic was able to start and run the motors in our shop, using our remote “test” tank and our shop ignition wire harness. Keep in mind this is a salvage unit and will need further mechanical maintenance performed on the motors prior to use. the lower unit has some light scratches. Going to the trailer there is surface rust, the rollers are worn and there’s some PVC guides. This unit comes to us due to a building falling on it. Going to the boat in the bow the railings are bent and pushed over, there are scratches on both sides of the bow stop. Going to the port side that railing is pushed over and bent there are light scratches from bow to stern. In the stern it is lake stained, there is a rack mounted to the swim platform. And there is a downrigger mount mounted to the stern. Going to the starboard side they’re light scratches from bow to stern, the railing is bent and twisted. Looking at the hull there are lots of scratches from bow to stern. On the inside everything is weathered the seats are stained, the floor is solid. There’s a nice cubby, it has a musty smell to it. Good luck betting on this boat.
