Description
Coming to us is Stock #1831, a 2006 Jayco 278FBS Eagle travel trailer with a bumper‑style hitch. Based on the model number, it measures 28 feet in length, and the slide‑outs worked properly when tested. This camper was brought in due to roof damage—there is a hole in the roof, and water appears to have entered and spread through the roofing structure, causing soft spots and visible ripples in certain areas. However, the interior does not show noticeable signs of water damage.
At the front of the camper, the propane tank cover is cracked and broken on the top, though the front wall of the camper itself appears to be in good shape.
Along the driver’s side, the lower paneling strip beneath the slide-out has damage, including several larger dents, and there are additional dents, scratches, and scuffs on both sides of the slide-out.
At the rear, there is surface rust on the bumper, but the rest of the back looks to be in good condition.
On the passenger side, there are scratches on the lower paneling near the middle, along with more scratching in a decal slightly forward near the door.
Inside, the trim is coming loose on the bathroom sink counter as well as on the exterior of the shower. The bathroom floor vent is broken but still in place. In the main living area, the table is missing—you can see the mounting holes in the floor where it used to be. The remainder of the interior presents well.
This camper is being sold AS‑IS and is ready for its next owner to fix up and bring back to life. Good luck bidding on this item.
