Description
Coming to us is Stock #1857 a 2011 Sylvan 8522 that is 22ft in length with a Mercury 75HP 4 Stroke with EFI motor that turned over but would not run. This pontoon does not have a battery, and the trailer is not included.
Looking at the Bow (front), the door is bent and doesn’t close, the front of the top right seat is torn, on the left side all the paneling is missing, and the rails are bent and scratched, and the top of the trim is bent and scratched in spots along with front of the trim.
Moving to the Port (Left) side, the back of the center bench seat is ripped and torn and scuffed up, all the paneling is missing from the door all the way to the back, the toon has a large dent in the middle and noticeable scratches.
Starting at Stern (Back) of the pontoon the motor is covered in algae more than likely from being submerged underwater. The paneling is missing on the rear door on the right side, the right corner trim is missing, and the paneling is torn off the back right side and the corner.
Moving to the Starboard (right) side the panel missing towards the front and bent damaged scratched and falling off the rest of it. The top of the railing near the middle is bent and scratched and the toon has some noticeable scratches.
The Hull looking at the bottom of the deck has some mildew also and looks to have been submerged.
Going inside the boat the floor is covered in mold and mildew and appears it was submerged; the dashes instrument panel also looks like it may have been submerged in water and is scuffed up in spots. All the back top of the seats are either ripped, torn, scuffed or scratched, the bottoms of the seats appear to be ok other than one bottom cushion in the front left bench seat looks like it got crushed. The frame for the Bimini is bent in spots and the cover for it is torn.
There may be more damage that we did not see or is hidden. This pontoon is ready for it’s next owner. Good luck bidding on this item.
